The Pre-Dusk

....And now its time, time when they have been exhausted, they have been hungry. The sun is about to set and the sirens are about to go off. This is the time when the watches are being watched the most through out the year, a second of which seems to pass extraordinarily slow. Women in the kitchen, men around the kitchen and kids probably be out with friends, flying kite or just hanging out, some of which make fake siren sounds to fool the crowd! Finally the moment comes, the sirens go off, its time to pray the dua and break the fast. The ever-new pakoray, phulkiyan, chanay, dahi baray type of iftari items fills up every dinning tables in every home. Just after 20 to 30 minutes they have eaten so much that they just want to crash down on the bed and take a nap. Thats the spirit of ramzan and the rozay!

The only place in Karachi -in my opinion at least- to get the best chicken cheese rolls is ROLL INN -boat basin, Clifton. This place is so popular, and probably the rolls so delicious that their rolls have become the center of attraction, or more accurately speaking -have literally blinded the curtomers of any other drawbacks in the place! I bumped into a boy from my own neighborhood back in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. I asked him what are you doing here with your buddies, he replied that he was there to eat the rolls! Finally the waiter arrives and hands over the menu, after deciding what to eat me and my friends moved to the drinks section, guess what! they had "Letter" bottles of soft drinks being printed on the menu! Bomb Threat at Business Avenue

There has been a bomb threat at Business Avenue at Shahrah-e-Faisal. The building has been evacuated and emergency measures has been taken. Bomb disposal squad is searching for the threat at the moment. The picture was taken at 3 in the afternoon which shows ambulances in front of the building and people waiting outside for any confirm reports. One of the pedestrians humorously told that this is just a rumor spread by someone who needed a day off! Other statements highlighted that the treat was made in 11 in the morning some said the building was evacuated around 2 in the afternoon. People standing outside are getting a bit bored, some anxious and a some grumpy! One young individual said "I don't know what they are trying to do, either let us go home or let us go back to our offices" There are still no confirmed reports of the threat or the threat being neutralized.
